How We Evaluate Products
A review is only useful when readers can understand where its conclusions came from.
1. We define the use case
"Best" only makes sense for a specific person, budget, and situation.
2. We verify product identity
Model numbers, regional versions, voltage, dimensions, warranty, and compatibility are checked against primary sources.
3. We separate evidence types
Manufacturer specifications, claims, third-party evidence, and our observations are labeled differently. Research is never presented as hands-on testing.
4. We test where it changes the answer
Hands-on reviews document the test period, comparison products, conditions, measurements, and original evidence.
